- Bohemian Rhapsody
One of the most iconic songs ever produced, having notched up over 2.3 billion plays on Spotify, 1.7 billion views on YouTube, the eternally popular single remains Queen’s biggest ever hit.
Some would argue it is in fact the greatest Rock song ever.
In the UK, the song has been awarded four-times Platinum status, meaning sales and streams reached in excess of 2.4 million.
2. Another One Bites The Dust
With a distinctive bass line influenced by disco and funk, the catchy beat and rhythmic drive made it a huge hit on the dance floor after it’s release in 1980.
It is still played with great admiration today, capturing fans’ imaginations at sporting events with it’s unmistakable beat.
3. We Will Rock You
Released in 1977, the iconic song written by Brian May, is known for its stomping beat and clapping rhythm.
The single made No 2 in the charts, but Queen secured a No 1 with the tune when they collaborated with pop band Five in 2014.
The track has enjoyed over 591 million You Tube streams and a staggering 1.1 billion listens on Spotify.
4. Don’t Stop Me Now
This infectious tune only made it to No 9 in the UK charts (it peaked the week that I Will Survive was No 1), but in the decades since, it’s become a firm favourite.
Freddie Mercury’s ode to a good night out was released as a single from the Jazz album in January 1979
There aren’t many who can resist dancing along to the beat when it kicks in.
5. Somebody to Love
This gospel-inspired rock ballad features complex harmonies and soulful lyrics, expressing feelings of companionship and love.
In a slightly different tone to some previous releases, the song highlighted Queen’s ability to blend rock with other musical styles and showcased Freddie Mercury’s vocal prowess.
It is a testament to the band’s musical diversity, despite it’s release back in 1976.
Magic Queen re-enacts the glorious days of legendary rock band Queen, including the glam of the ’70s and the magic of the ’80s, proving themselves to be one the most dynamic and exciting Queen Tribute Band’s in Europe.
