1. About Us

This website is operated by Somerset County Cricket Club, based in Somerset, United Kingdom (“we”, “us”, “our”).
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our website and the purchase of tickets or registrations for events (“Events”) sold through our website.

By purchasing a ticket or using our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms.


2. Ticket Purchases

2.1 All tickets (“Tickets”) are sold subject to availability and these Terms.
2.2 A binding contract is formed once payment has been successfully processed and confirmation has been issued.
2.3 It is your responsibility to ensure that all booking details are correct before completing your purchase.


3. No Refunds Policy

3.1 All Ticket purchases are final. Tickets are strictly non-refundable.

Once purchased, Tickets cannot be refunded, exchanged, or transferred, including in circumstances such as:

  • inability to attend the Event;
  • illness, injury, or personal circumstances;
  • travel disruption or accommodation issues;
  • adverse weather conditions;
  • changes to personal availability.

3.2 By completing your purchase, you acknowledge and agree to this no-refund policy.

3.3 This policy is compliant with UK law under Regulation 28(1)(h) of the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, which excludes leisure services provided on a specific date or period from cancellation rights.


4. Event Changes, Postponement & Cancellation

4.1 We reserve the right to make reasonable changes to Events, including changes to venue, schedule, performers, speakers, or content.

4.2 If an Event is postponed, your Ticket will remain valid for the rescheduled date and no refund will be offered.

4.3 If an Event is cancelled entirely by us, we may offer:

  • a replacement Event; or
  • a refund of the Ticket face value (excluding booking fees), at our discretion.

4.4 We are not responsible for any additional costs incurred by you, including travel, accommodation, or loss of earnings.


5. Admission & Attendance

5.1 Entry to Events is subject to venue rules, capacity limits, and health and safety requirements.
5.2 We reserve the right to refuse admission or remove attendees whose behaviour is disruptive, unsafe, or in breach of Event rules. No refund will be issued in such circumstances.
5.3 Tickets may be non-transferable and must not be resold for commercial gain.


6. Age Restrictions

Where age restrictions apply, valid photographic ID may be required. Failure to provide suitable ID may result in refusal of entry without refund.


7. Liability

7.1 Attendance at Events is at your own risk.
7.2 To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for:

  • loss or damage to personal property;
  • indirect or consequential losses;
  • personal injury unless caused by our negligence.

7.3 Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence or any other liability which cannot be excluded under UK law.


8. Photography & Recording

8.1 Events may be photographed or recorded for promotional purposes.
8.2 By attending an Event, you consent to being photographed or recorded and for such material to be used by us without compensation.


9. Website Use

9.1 All content on this website is owned by or licensed to us and may not be copied or reused without permission.
9.2 We do not guarantee that the website will be available at all times or free from errors.
